This small waterfall close to the aboriginal village of Chashan is apparently a popular swimming spot among local children during the wet season (summer). The photo above was taken, obviously, in the dry season when it’s pretty insignificant. It’s a short and easy stroll there from the road though. Close by, a couple of minutes from the road (signposted) is one of Taiwan’s natural eternal flames. Like several others, this one has been ‘developed,’ spoiling its curiosity value.
