This lovely waterfall was apparently spoiled by Typhoon Morakot in August 2008 (I took the print photos above in the early 1990s), which blocked with gorge with boulders. It’s still accessible, although on our last visit in October 2013, we couldn’t get up to the waterfall because the trail was too overgrown and slippery.

Tianyungu Waterfall (天雲谷瀑布): a series of several big falls totalling several hundred meters in height. Can only be seen from a distance, at a viewing platform at the end of a signposted road up from Fenshan village.
